Ogre-faced spiders don't need ears to 'hear' their prey, study finds. These large-eyed nocturnal predators snag food out of the air.

Ogre-faced, net-casting spiders (Deinopis spinosa) use sensors in their legs to "hear" prey coming before they snatch their food out of the air.
